Dr. Sydney Liang, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She specializes in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, delivering compassionate, high-quality, and patient-centered care to patients in Manhattan’s Upper East Side and throughout New York City.
Dr. Liang combines academic excellence, surgical precision, and aesthetic artistry to help patients achieve healthy skin and natural-looking cosmetic results.
Dr. Liang’s academic background reflects exceptional achievement and dedication to excellence. She completed her undergraduate degrees in cell biology, genetics, and human development at the University of Maryland, graduating summa cum laude and earning early acceptance to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society as a junior.
She earned her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated at the top of her class.
Dr. Liang completed her dermatology residency at the NYU Langone Health, within the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology. During residency, she received multiple awards for academic excellence, leadership, and research, culminating in the Morris Leider MD Award for “Best All-Around Resident.”
