Board-Certified Physician Assistant | Medical & Cosmetic Dermatology Specialist
Navita is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®).
Originally from Massachusetts, she graduated with honors from Worcester State University before earning her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Washington.
Navita began her healthcare career working as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and later as a dermatology medical assistant, where she developed a strong clinical foundation and an early passion for skin health. After graduating from PA school, she started her career in inpatient medicine, caring for patients in nursing homes, hospice, and geriatric settings. She gained valuable hands-on experience managing complex medical conditions while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Navita is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed to practice in New York. She is passionate about providing thoughtful, individualized care and takes pride in ensuring her patients feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their treatment plans. Having struggled with acne herself, she understands how much skin concerns can impact confidence, and is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. Her clinical interests include general dermatology, with a focus on acne, hair loss, psoriasis, eczema, and promoting overall skin health.
Outside of work, Navita enjoys spending time with her mini goldendoodle and exploring everything New York City has to offer, from trying new workout classes to discovering the best restaurants and hidden gems around the city. She looks forward to helping you achieve healthy, confident skin.
