Arthur Haughey, PA-C—known to many patients as Artie—is a board-certified Physician Assistant at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®). Since joining SINY in 2013, he has provided comprehensive dermatologic care to patients across Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island.
Artie trained directly under dermatologist Peter Saitta and has developed extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and treating common and complex skin conditions. He specializes in acne treatment, hair loss management, wart removal, skin cancer screenings, and general dermatology.

During his PA education, Artie completed a clinical dermatology clerkship at Lewis County General Hospital, where he developed hands-on experience evaluating and managing dermatologic conditions.
He is also a member of multiple Physician Assistant and dermatology national honor societies, reflecting his ongoing commitment to clinical excellence and professional development.

Life Outside the Clinic
Artie lives on Long Island with his wife and their three children. His family includes a daughter living with Cystic Fibrosis, which has strengthened his empathy and commitment to compassionate healthcare.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his children, visiting extended family, and attending his father’s church.
Earlier in life, Artie was also a varsity football athlete at SUNY Cortland, where he played all four years after earning MVP honors at Bellport High School in New York.
