Dr. Ronald R. Brancaccio is the founder of the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®), a leading dermatology group serving New York City and Long Island since 1979. A board-certified dermatologist with decades of clinical experience, Dr. Brancaccio diagnoses and treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails.
Throughout his career, he has combined patient care with academic leadership, dermatology research, and physician education. In addition to treating patients at SINY Dermatology offices in Manhattan and Brooklyn, he serves as a clinical professor at New York University School of Medicine, where he helps train future dermatologists.

Dr. Brancaccio’s medical training laid the foundation for a long and distinguished career in dermatology.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) – George Washington University School of Medicine
- Medical Internship – Lenox Hill Hospital, New York City
- Dermatology Residency – Oregon Health & Science University (formerly University of Oregon Health Sciences Center)
Following his residency training, Dr. Brancaccio returned to New York where he later founded SINY Dermatology in 1979.

Dr. Brancaccio established the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®) with the vision of creating a dermatology practice that combined clinical excellence, academic expertise, and compassionate patient care.
Since its founding, SINY has grown into one of the region’s most respected dermatology groups, providing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services throughout New York City and Long Island.
His leadership and mentorship have helped shape the careers of many dermatologists and physician assistants who practice at SINY today.

Dr. Brancaccio treats a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions and has particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin allergies and complex dermatologic disorders.
